Following on from an extremely successful weekend for Irish Pitch and Putt with both our ladies & Gents bringing home the 2025 European titles our busy schedule continues.

Firstly, we wish our U16 Juveniles the best of luck in this weekend’s U16 Provincial Strokeplay
We would also like to wish the best of luck to all our Gents who are taking part in this weekend’s Qualifying event for the National Strokeplay

2025 U16 National Strokeplay & Intercounty – Bagenalstown 24th August

U16 National Strokeplay in Bagenalstown – Please note that this is now a 1-day event and will take place on Sunday 24th of August in Bagenalstown.
Closing date remains the same (11th August) and entry form is available under National Competitions in the download section of the website.

2025 U16 National Matchplay – Fermoy 6th & 7th September

Entry Forms are now available under National Competitions in the download section of the website. Entries close 15th August

2025 Ladies & Gents Munster & Leinster Intercounty (Ardnacrusha and Inniskeen & Cloghogue) 30th & 31st August

Please note the following re the Provincial Intercounty. Closing date for names provided is 12th August. (We have asked county boards to give an indication of expected number of teams in advance of this)

Leinster (Inniskeen & Cloghogue)

Saturday 30th August - Gents Inter & Junior in Cloghogue

Saturday 30th August – All Ladies (Mixed Grades - 4 per team) –in Inniskeen

(Ladies - 1st & 2nd Gross and 1st & 2nd Nett and the event will be played V Par)

Sunday 31st August – Senior Gents & Inniskeen

Munster (Ardnacrusha)

Saturday 30th August – All Ladies & Junior Gents

Sunday 31st August – Intermediate Gents & Seniors Gents

Practice times - the Ardnacrusha club will be opening the course for Inter County teams for practice from Saturday 16th August to Sunday 24th August. (they have asked the county boards to share their teams with Ardnacrusha in advance of practice)

2025 National Strokeplay (Gents) – St. Annes 9th & 10th August

As noted above the qualifiers take place this weekend (27th July).

Once qualifiers are confirmed to the office we will arrange draws to be published

Reminder re format

Event Format:

The championship will be contested over 72 holes. With all players playing 36 holes on Saturday August 9th, 2025
Player breakdown:
- 42 Juniors
- 60 Intermediates
- 60 Seniors
One-third of players in each category will qualify to compete on the final day (Sunday, August 10th).

2025 National Strokeplay (ladies) – McDonagh 16th & 17th August

No Qualifiers
Juniors and Intermediate Ladies play 36 holes on Saturday
Senior Ladies play 36 holes Sunday am
Sunday afternoon – The top 12 scores in each category return– Junior, Inter and Senior play 18-hole final

Fermoy is now confirmed as National Inter-Club Host
Qualifying 20th September.

Format for Interclub:

Regional quailifying in strokeplay -

Finals will be in Fermoy

-Saturday Play will be strokeplay

-Sunday the top 4 team will compete in matchplay

3 foursomes 6 singles

In the matchplay - senior inter and junior pairs will play V sen inter and junior

This will be followed by a Final for the event
