Interested in becoming a Pitch & Putt coach?
Pitch & Putt Ireland along with many other national governing bodies of sport is part of the Coaching Development Programme (CDP) which is run by the Sport Ireland Coaching. All of our courses are approved by the Sport Ireland Coaching in line with international qualifications.
We run courses at the following levels:
- Introduction to Coaching
- Level 1
Course participants must be current registered members of Pitch and Putt Ireland and over 18 years of age.
All certified coaches as well as those who attended the Introductory course are entered on both the Pitch and Putt Ireland and Sport Ireland Coaching registers.
The accredited tutor for Pitch and Putt Ireland is Stephen Enneguess.

Introduction to Pitch & Putt
This course is designed for people who are new to Pitch and Putt and would like to help coaching at a beginer level. Participants will gain knowledge on how to organise and deal with groups in a fun and safe way. The course takes 4 hours to complete and there is no exam. This course allows participants to assist in coaching sessions. The cost of this course is €20 per person.
Level 1 Coaching Course
This course is ideal for the majority of Pitch and Putt Ireland members interested in coaching as it is aimed at those with experience in the game. The course is primarily aimed at equipping coaches with the skills to coach 8-16 year olds but it also provides them with the fundamentals for coaching beginers of all ages. Participants need to be of good playing ability. The cost of this course is €50 per person and is run over 2 days.
