CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM IRELAND

Both our Ladies and Gents are the 2025 European Champions**

Dublin, Ireland – 20/07/2025
Ireland celebrated a double victory at the European Pitch and Putt Championships held over the weekend in Lucan, Dublin, as both the Men’s and Women’s national teams secured top honours in a historic tournament featuring elite teams from across Europe.

The Irish Gents Team, led by Manager Paddy Kelly (Trim), successfully retained their European title, delivering a dominant performance throughout the championship. Catalonia finished in second place, while Great Britain claimed third spot on the podium. The Irish squad showcased exceptional talent and unity, affirming their status as Europe’s top team in the sport. Ireland are current World Champions.

Making history of their own, the Irish Ladies Team, managed by Ger Holland (RGSC), clinched victory in the inaugural Women’s European Championship, overcoming strong competition to defeat Catalonia in the final. This marks a significant milestone for women's participation in the sport at the international level.
