This years U16 National Matchplay will take place in St Bridgets this coming weekend, the event is kindly sponsored by The Persson Family and Kenny's Supervalu, Blessington. 66 Boys and 9 girls have entered the event which is our highest since this event began, the event format will be as follows

Saturday

9:00am - Boys 18 Hole Strokeplay using a shotgun start, please check in by 8:30am, the field will split in half after this, Top 32 will progress to the Boys Championship and the remaining players will play in the Boys Shield.

12:00pm - Knockout stages will commence, it is intended to play down to semi finals stages on Saturday in both Championship and Shield.

Girls should check in by 11:15am at the latest, a draw will then be made and play will commence shortly after, we will try to complete the Girls Championship on Saturday
