Turkeys for Cooper & Devin
The 2nd week of the annual turkey competitions saw compeditors yet again blessed with some fantastic weather conditions as they were met with sunshine and a light breeze all week and one heavy shower of rain just before play on sunday morning.
Grade 1 saw two men, Paddy mc Cabe & Alan Cooper return to form both carding a 46 gross but it was Alan who claimed his bird with a 21 back 9 including an Ace on the long 18th finishing hole.
Grade 2 saw the usual suspects tussle away at each other after being nip and tuck at each other all season Steven Kelly & Tom Devin continued their battle in the turkeys both carding a 48gross with Tom emerging as the winner with a 24 back 9.
Next weeks play is at the usual times of Wed, Fri & Sat at 1.30pm and Sunday at 10am.
