County Board Alliance
The third County Board Alliance 3 ball Scramble took place on Sunday 17th February in Kilbeggan. A terrific 23 teams took part on what was a beautiful morning and as always our club was well represented with 7 teams taking part. Unfortunately we had no teams in the running for the prizes this weekend. Congratulations to the two teams from Collinstown who won the gross and nett prizes on the day. Hard luck to the team of Sean Dinnegan,Rene Jan Bloem and Niall Corcoran, who were pipped by one shot.  Great to see the course in such fine condition so early in the year, a special word of thanks to Rose McCormack for her tireless work in welcome all the players with a warm smile and a hot cuppa, indeed thank you to all the Kilbeggan members for their hospitality. On Sunday the 3rd March the County Board Alliance takes place in Rochfortbridge. Tee times are as usual 1100am-1pm. We hope to see another good turnout from our members to support the County Board Alliances.
Club Competition
A club competition is scheduled for Sunday 24th February 2013 at 10am as always this is weather permitting. A text message will be sent if it has to be postponed.
