Provincial Inter-Counties Intermediate and Junior Grades
With the new Handicap System in place the closing date for Handicaps is today Monday 16th May 2016. The reason for this is Competitions entered into the system over the past weeks today would become the players handicap.
National Championships Launch
The launch of the National Championships will take place on Saturday 21st May at 10.00 in Irish Sport HQ. It is expected that people representing the Media, Players, County Boards and the Sports Council will be present.
National Matchplay Live Draws
The Draws for the National Ladies and Gents Matchplay will take place after this at about 11.00, Chrissie Byrne and John Walsh defend their titles over the June Bank-Holiday weekend. The event takes place in the Seapoint Club in Termonfeckin.

2016 National Matchplay Numbers
World Cup Trial
This also takes place on Saturday at 12.00 in the Portmarnock Club, play will be over 54 holes. The first 36 holes will be a shot-gun start, the Final round will see the Leaders go out last, they will be playing for two places with the third member of the Team selected by the NEC. The World Cup itself takes place in Andorra over the weekend 1st – 3rd July.

Meeting with County Boards
A meeting with County Boards at approx 1.00pm will take place following the Launch of the Championships and the Live Matchplay Draw.
