Facts and figures following St. Bridget's event today

St. Brendan's College, Killarney become the first school win four All Ireland Schools’ Pitch and Putt tournaments in a row.
St. Francis College, Rochestown are the fifth winning school in history to also claim a third place. St. Brendan's College, Killarney have achieved this twice.
The three stroke margin enjoyed by St. Brendan's College, Killarney is the fourth lowest winning margin in the tournament’s history, and the lowest since the ‘Sem’ triumphed by one at Hillview three years ago.
After St. Kieran’s College Kilkenny’s performance at St. Bridget’s, a Kilkenny school finished runners-up for the first time.
St. Kieran’s College gave Leinster a fourth set of silver medals in the event and a second successive second place for the eastern province.
Munster’s run of consecutive victories now stands at ten.
St. Francis College, Rochestown have now filled all three positions at the event, adding third place in 2025 to their win in 2018 and runners-up performances in 2019 and 2023. St. Brendan’s College Killarney and Coláiste an Chraobhín, Fermoy are the other schools to boast at least one win, one second and one third.
The spread of the St. Brendan's College, Killarney team scores (eighteen strokes) at St. Bridget’s is the highest by any winning side in the history of the All Ireland Schools tournament.
St. Brendan's College, Killarney achieved a seventh podium finish in eight stagings, an all-time record. The Killarney institution is also the most consistent school in the event’s history with four wins, two seconds and two thirds, four podium finishes better than Davis College Mallow and Coláiste an Chraoibhín, Fermoy and St. Francis College, Rochestown.
Brian McCarthy and Nathan Cronin now hold two winners’ medals, the same number as fellow St. Brendan’s Killarney players, Cillian Courtney, Fintan Martin and Robert Harnett.
Brian McCarthy is the first player to break 100 at the event, since Cian O’Callaghan at Hillview three years ago.
St. Bridget’s joins Tullamore and Lakeside as to-time host venues used for the All Ireland Schools’ final. Hillview has hosted on three occasions (2011, 2022 and 2024).
The 2025 winning, runner-up and third-place scores are respectively the highest of the two stagings at St. Bridget’s.
NB – the tournament was not played in 2016, 2020 or 2021.
