Jimmy Muldarry Cup
2013. The Jimmy Muldarry over 50’s cup was held in
Rochfortbridge last Thursday evening. The course was in immaculate condition
and a lot of credit goes to the Rochfortbridge club for all the hard work that
has been done over the years. Winners on the evening were, Overall: John Feery Kilbeggan Net 89 Gross: Tom Arthur Rochfortbridge 93 Ladies: Ann Clarke Kilbeggan net 94. Leinster Strokeplay
Qualifying. Westmeath
County Board wish all the qualifiers the very best of luck at the finals and
also thank the Lough Owel club for having the course in excellent condition.
There was no qualifying round for the ladies and the county board would like to
wish all ladies who entered the best of luck in the finals. National
Strokeplay Qualifying. The National Strokeplay qualifying rounds took place
in blustery winds at Collinstown on Sunday last and qualifiers in each grade
are as follows, Senior: Rene Bloem 93 Michael Buckley 95 John Browne 99 Liam Buckley 101 Ronan Whelan 102 Niall Cuffe 102 Inter: Martin Carter 103 Dessie Baker 105 Junior: Declan Murphy 112 Gary Middleton 114 Westmeath
County Board wish all the qualifiers the very best of luck at the finals in
Rocklodge in Co. Cork and also thank the Collinstown club for having the course
in excellent condition on Sunday. There was no qualifying round for the ladies
and the county board would like to wish all ladies who entered the best of luck
in the finals at Navan Co. Meath. Bill and Una Daly
Competition. The Bill and Una Daly competition takes place in
Kilbeggan on Thursday 27th June. Order
