An enjoyable day was had by all and there is another day organised for next Saturday 9th March in Collinstown with tee off time at 10.00am. We would like to thank the Kilbeggan club for the hospitality and having the course in excellent condition and all who helped out on the day.

Winter Alliance.

Rochfortbridge hosted the 4th winter alliance of the year on a lovely spring Sunday morning. Once again there were 25 strong teams in attendance and Westmeath county board like to thank all who continue to support the alliances. Gross prize winners on the day were the Collinstown team of Michael Buckley, Liam Buckley and Martin Carter. Net prize winners were the Custume team of Sean Langdon, Jimmy Mullaly and Declan Prendergast. The spot prizes were won by Michael Buckley Collinstown and Mary Connell Kilbeggan. Many thanks go to the Rochfortbridge club for the refreshments and also having the course in good shape on the day. The scheduled alliance due to take place in Custume Athlone will take place at Lough Owel on Sunday 10th March with play starting at 10.00am. This venue change is because of drainage work been carried out on the course in Custume.
