Tomorrow we will be counting down ‘1 Week To Go!’ until entries close for the Volunteers in Sport Awards on the 8th February. I’d be most grateful if you could encourage members of your network to nominate individuals that they feel merit recognition for all they have done for your sport or organisation in their local area. Entries can me made by completing the short online form at https://volunteersinsport.ie/online-entry-form/ . The awards recognise volunteers nationwide, so lots of opportunities for volunteers to be championed! Volunteering numbers have not yet returned to pre-pandemic levels, so it’s more important than ever to appreciate those who do give so generously of their time and effort. They are in essence #DedicatedToTheDedicated.
