The Leinster Inter-County Championships take place over the course of the next week. Firstly the Juveniles contest their title in the beautiful and tranquil Kilbeggan next Wednesday afternoon on the 7th August. Louth will be aiming to retain their title following a huge win last year.

The following day, Thursday 8th August, the Leinster Juvenile Strokeplay takes place at the same venue, and there is due to be a mammoth field across the grades.

Details to follow this evening on both of those events.

Then on Sunday August 11th, the Leinster Ladies and Gents Inter-County takes place at the magnificent Cement Pitch & Putt Club, in Drogheda, and these should be a fantastic championships in both grades. Meath are the defending Gents Champions and should challenge, while Dublin are the Ladies holders and will be eager to continue in a winning vein.

The Cement club have advised that practice will be open to all competitors until Thursday 8th August, where the course will close for grounds word at dusk.

As I alluded to earlier, there will be further details this evening about the Leinster Juvenile Championships, and as soon as I get them I will post on PPUI and the relevant social media. The usual previews and scoring will be presented over the coming days and on the days play respectively!
