Notice – Rescheduled Berney Lacey Memorial Scratch Cup
Dear Secretary,
As most clubs will be aware we had to postpose our Scratch Cup which was due to be held
on Monday 7th August however, we are delighted to have received confirmation that we can
run our Scratch Cup on Saturday 16th Sept.
We have decided to leave the timesheets as they were with the entries received up to the
point when we had to postpone the original fixture.
In addition to the change in date, we want to be able to continue with the 54 hole Scratch
Cup (36 Holes and an 18 Hole Playoff). Due to fading daylight for our new date, we have
decided to start earlier than planned.
Originally we had three sessions with a shotgun start at the following times: 8.00am,
11.30am and 3.00pm, we are now bringing the three sessions forward by 15 mins so the
new times for the three sessions will be: 7.45am, 11.15am & 2.45pm. This is to facilitate the
playoff as close to 6pm as possible.
If anyone currently entered cannot play on 16th September, please contact Mark Gibney on
0872520019 or Paddy Kelly on 0876850650 so we can free up the spaces as there is a
waiting list in operation.
We would ask that this notice is made available to your members so they are aware of these
changes.
