The Men’s team consists of 4 of last years team in Anthony Culhane, James Ryan, John O’Meara & Paul O’Brien which indicates that consistency is slowly but surely creeping into the Premier County. A fine showing at the recent Munster Inter County Championships @ Tramore should give this team a real sense of optimism and it can be stated that they had plenty of chances to finish in the top two in Tramore. This Tipperary team is not to be underestimate. With the likes of Stephen Shoer making a welcome return to the team, he has enjoyed a consistent season and the young Oisin Ryan who had a thundering last 4 trials to make the team indicates that Tipp men are slowly developing into a decent team after a transitional few years. Tipperary are paired with Westmeath for these Championships and the very fact that Westmeath had a second place finish in the Leinster Inter County is sure to prove beneficial for the Tipp Team. One might suggest that whoever wins this encounter could be in the shake-up for a podium place.
