This team performed heroically at the Munster Inter County at Tramore when you consider that they were missing their two strongest players in Breda Lonergan & Martha O’Brien. They now have decent depth in the team to mount a serious challenge and these 6 players are certainly hoping to get back on the podium once again this year after taking the Bronze medal in 2009 and 2011. This panel of players have enjoyed a lot of success individually this year and if they get it right on the day, they will be give this Championship a right rattle. The St Patricks course is one that suit the Tipperary Ladies and I fully expect them to give a great account of themselves over the weekend.
