Pitch & Putt Ireland are currently looking for testers for new player profiles on the handicap system. It's open to any registered player. If you are interested, please email testing@irishpitchandputt.ie with your name, club and registration number.
What will testers need to do:
- You will be given your own player login detail to the handicap system. It will be separate to any club access you may have.
- You will be given instructions on how to switch the new profiles on.
- You will be encouraged to report any feedback or problems you encounter.
The new profiles feature:
- Finishing positions: where you placed in every competition, by gross, nett and grade.
- Streaks: current and best runs, such as sub-50 rounds, handicap cuts, top 10 finishes and weeks in a row playing.
- Timeline: your career moments in one place, including wins, cuts, grade changes and achievements.
- Head to head: your record against the people you've played against the most, plus your closest competitor.
- Event history: how you've done each year in the events you play regularly.
- Championship record: your results in national and provincial championships.
- Detailed stats: scoring by season and by month, home vs away, course records, personal bests and round by round.
- Track your own stats: Birdies, Bogeys, Hole in Ones, Greens in Regulation, Putts and Sand Saves
- Achievements: Add your own achievements (will be moderated)
- Personal goals: set season and long-term goals and track your progress over time.
- Milestones: badges earned from your playing record.
- Course collection: tick off every affiliated course you've played.
- Follow players: keep up with other players' latest results.
- Profile Image: add your own profile image. (will be moderated)
- Share: send your profile link, or save any card as an image.
- Plus the usual handicap details and scoring stats
