10 degrees difference
in temperature and a small amount of rain greeted the 36 teams who qualified
for the second stage of the national Scramble on Sunday morning. Promptly at
9.30am 36 teams split between Castletown and Navan courses started on the next
step to making the final 18 holes which takes place at 2.00pm in the Navan
course.
Leaders Riverdale C with a two stroke lead are looking good provided they
can maintain their rate of scoring but as with all scramble competitions the
result could be as changeable as the weather.
