Provincial Schools Competitions – Leinster & Munster Results
The 2026 Provincial Schools Competitions took place today, with Newbridge College claiming the Leinster title and St Brendan’s College, Killarney 1 taking the Munster honours.
In Leinster, Newbridge College finished on 153, ahead of Patrician Secondary School, Kildare 2 on 155, with Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar 1 taking third on 158. Harry Concannon of St Kieran’s College, Kilkenny claimed the Best Individual honours with a score of 48, winning on the back six from Daniel McCabe of Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar 1.
In Munster, St Brendan’s College, Killarney 1 and Coláiste an Chraoibhín, Fermoy 1 both finished on 161, with St Brendan’s taking the title on the back six. Cashel Community School finished third on 170. Fionn McMonagle of St Brendan’s College, Killarney took the Best Individual honours with a gross 51, winning on the back nine from Conor Ronan of St Colman’s College, Fermoy.
