Results!!
We have 3 results in our u-16 National Matchplay. Glenn Towler defeated Kieran Mills 3&2 in the boy’s cup. Katie Rose Heeney defeated Katelyn Farrell 13&12 in the girl’s competition. In the plate competition for the boys Evan Carry defeated Sean Clerkin 5&3.

In the boys cup Glenn Towler is 3up on Kieran Mills after 27 holes. In the girls competition Katie Rose Heeney in 11up on Katelyn Farrell after 18holes.

Play is very close in the boys competitions, Kieran Mills & Glenn Towler are all square after 18 and in the Plate Evan Carry is 2up on Sean Clerkin after 18.

After 9 holes of the finals Kieran Mills is 2up on Glenn Towler in the Cup, Katie Rose Heeney is 8up on Katelyn Farrell in the girl’s competition and Evan Carry is 1 up on Sean Clerkin in the Plate competition.

We have the last semi final result in as Sean Clerkin (Bellewstown) defeated Cillian Courtney (Deerpark) 2&1.
We will have a putting seminar from St. Anne’s legend Ray Murphy in between the semi-final and final.

Glenn Towler of St. Anne’s has reached the 2016 u-16 National Matchplay defeating Iain Aherne 2&1. We have a very exciting final ahead of us in both the boys and girls as Kieran Mills & Glenn Towler compete in an all Cork affair and Katelyn Farrell & Katie Rose Heeney compete in an all Leinster affair.

First Results @ 11.00am
We have some results in as Kieran Mills of Collins has reached the National Matchplay final defeating Dylan Hudson of St. Patrick’s 8&7.
We also have a result in the girls semis final. Katie Rose Heeney has reached the final defeating Keneisha Green Scully by 15&14.
In the boys Plate competition Evan Carry has defeated Robbie Harnett 13&11.

All set to go on day 2 of the PPUI u-16 National Matchplay at a fresh and misty Royal Meath. This morning will see semi-final action in the Boys Cup as Dylan Hudson (St. Patrick’s) takes on Kieran Mills (Collins) and Iain Aherne (Ballinlough) take on Glenn Towler (St. Anne’s).
The Plate semi-final will see Evan Carry (Castletown) take on Robbie Harnett (Deerpark) and Cillian Courtney (Deerpark) takes on Sean Clerkin (Bellewstown).
Today will also see the girl’s competition get underway and we have 3 girls competing for National Matchplay honours. The semi-final will see Keneisha Green Scully (Laytown) take on Katie Rose Heeney (Bellewstown). Katelyn Farrell (The Acres) has a bye straight through to the final.
