The Clare CB Scratch Cup due to take place this weekend in Cill na Mona has been cancelled.

PPUI Honorary President Mervyn Cooney, on behalf of the National Executive Council, today announces the formation of a new PPUI sub-committee, a Ladies & Juvenile sub-committee. The purpose of this committee will be to look at all aspects of the Ladies’ and Juvenile game and to discuss the ongoing trends. The sub-committee will be asked to discuss items in relation to participation rates, barriers to participation, handicaps, competitions, administration and much more.

 

The sub-committee will be chaired by Declan Sheedy, Clare Road with PPUI President, Mervyn Cooney expressing his delight in Declan’s appointment. Declan will be supported with the inclusion on the sub-committee of Lily O’Brien, Lakeside, Mark Keohane, NEC & Rocklodge, Helen McMorrow, NEC & Lakeside, Darren Keogh, Ryston, Christine Mulvey, Glenville and Audrey Donnelly, MacBride.

 

The Ladies & Juvenile sub-committee are eager to work with County/Regional Boards, Clubs and most importantly PPUI Members to come with ideas for Ladies & Juvenile Pitch and Putt.
