The NEC of Pitch and Putt Ireland is setting aside the Fixture Calendar for 2020 and in its place they would like to ask Clubs to apply if they wish to be considered to hold an Open Day 36 hole event if and when we are allowed to do so. As we move through the various phases of the Government Roadmap, Sport Ireland will continue providing training & support resources to the sector in relation to Covid19.

In addition to the ongoing assessment of protocols & support resources from the Expert Group, Sport Ireland will provide a blend of classroom based and eLearning opportunities for Funded bodies, Club & Community Groups, Coaches, Volunteers & Participants.

Sport Ireland wish to notify NGBs, LSPs and other funded bodies that the Sport Ireland COVID-19 Awareness eLearning Course is now available on it’s website.

The course which can be publically accessed here aims at supporting administrators, volunteers, coaches and participants to return to sport during phase 2 in a safe & practical manner. Funded Bodies are encouraged to share the Course with its affiliates, clubs and members through its direct & social media channels.

Additional online support including Compliance Officer Training for Clubs & Community Groups will be released as we move through the remaining phases of the Roadmap.

Further communication will be provided by the NGB and LSP Units in due course.
