It's all over in Gaeil Colmcille for the day and Loughlinstown's Betty Cody has got the better of local duo Monica McGovern and Beulah Morris after a marathon 13 hole playoff to win the Intermediate title! A second round of 56 gave Rathfeigh's Joan Caffery second on 119 with Skyrne's Anne Nugent a further shot back in third and 18 hole leader Margaret O'Donovan from Bruff finishing fourth on 121. Well done to Betty and Margaret on two hard fought victories.

A brillant second round of nine under par has given Margaret Hogan of Tullamore victory in the National Senior Ladies Championship in Gaeil Colmcille.
