It is with profound sadness that Pitch & Putt Ireland has learned of the death of our Vice President and Patron Myles McMorrow of the Lakeside Club in Templemore in the early hours of this morning. A pre-eminent figure in our game who is predeceased by his wife and our former Honorary Registrar Helen McMorrow, Myles travelled both near and far in support of our great game and served two terms as President between 2001-2004 and 2010-2013.  

 

He was also Club President in Lakeside as well as a Tipperary County Board Officer at the time of his death and we offer our profound sympathies to his family and the entire Pitch & Putt Community both in Templemore as well as Tipperary on his death. We will have more words when the time is right but for the moment we all pause and remember his great legacy in our game.
