MacBride Weekly Notes THE 2014 Winter League came to an exiting finish this week,

out, with Padraig Sarsfield shooting 44 Gross to narrowly beat Owen Smith’s
nine under par 45 Gross. Grade two was won by Keith Smyth after a 51 Gross that was
enough to beat nearest challenger Gordon Hatch a couple of strokes back. After all was said and done the 2014 Winter League Champions
were Owen Smith, Peter Vogelaar and Jimmy Flood with a total of -102 to see
David O' Brien, Keith Smyth and Joe Reilly finish in second just four shots
back with a total of -98. The next competition is Scotch Foursomes on Wednesday 26th
and Saturday 1st March at 1.30pm and Sunday 2nd March at

morning 2nd March, followed by Club Captain Padraic Sarsfield
kicking the season off with his opening pitch. Refreshments will be on hand and all members are asked to
show their support. The most recent draw for the MacBride Lotto took place on
Tuesday 18th February and there was no winner of the jackpot. The winning
numbers were 3, 5, 7 and 10. The three Lucky Dip Winners were Lisa Cummins, Pauline
