Mac Bride Weekly Notes 30/10/12
Bank Holiday Birds for Dyas & Kelly
Week 4 of the Turkey Season took place at Mac Bride over the Bank Holiday weekend and in sone very blustery wind conditions the scoring was very impressive across the board.
Grade 1 saw Tommy Dyas produce an excellent 47 gross to narrowly beat of the challenge of Club Captain Mickey Bedford on back 6,s with and impressive -3 for last six to the captains -1.
Steven Kelly finally grabbed his bird in grade 2 after a number of narrow defeats in recent weeks but this week he produced a solid 48gross to beat off a number of 49s from the like of Jimmy Flood, Aaron Mc Donagh and Pat Gartland to bring home the prize.
Times of play are back to normal next week with Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 1.30pm and Sunday at 10am.
Members are remindaed that the next draw of the Club Lotto takes place on Tuesday 6th November in The Railway Arms at 7.30pm and are asked to make sure tickets are retirned before hand.
