The club have held their first Scotch Foursomes club competition of the year, although weather caused numbers to be low, spirits were still high and some brilliant performances were put in. The pairing of Tommy Dyas & Gordon Hatch came close as they posted athe early clubhouse lead of 94 1/2 only to be beatin by the late challenge of Padraig Sarsfield & Tom Devin who carded 93 3/8's in what was definitely the worst of the conditions.
The latest draw of the club lotto took place on 26th March in the Railway Arms with a jackpot of €1550 up for grabs but unfortunately there was no winner, the numbers were 6,7,17,& 26. The three lucky dip winners were Alan Cooper c/o Mac Bride, Robbie Wade & Bernie Faulkner c/o Mary Smyth. The next draw will take place on Tuesday 9th April and the jackpot will be €1600.
