This week saw members greeted with some what mixed but dry weather conditions. The 18 Hole singles took place over the bank holiday weekend and was well supported by all members but nobody could knock Jimmy Flood off his perch as he carded a 40 Nett (HC8) to claim his third win in a row and claim the 18Nett beating Tom Devin on back 9's. The unlucky Tom was also beaten on a countback when Padraig Sarsfield carded a 20 back 9 on his way to a 46 to win the 18Gross and his first competition of the season.
This weeks competition will be Scotch Foursomes and will take place on Wednesday & Saturday at 1.30pm and Sunday at 10am. Please arrive on time to allow time for draw.
The Cheltenham Festival Fundraiser proved not only to be a huge success but alot of fun for all involved, the overall winner was Tom o' Connor who finished on 78 Points which included five wiiners on the final day. The club would like to thank all involved and hope to see you all again at the same time next year.
The latest draw of the club lotto took place on 12th March in The Railway Arms and the numbers were 7, 14, 26 & 28. The was no jackpot winner and the new jackpot is €1550. The three lucky dip winners were Mark o' Brien c/o Alan Cooper, Ann-Marie c/o Ivor Flanagan and Joey Judge c/o Railway Arms. The next draw will take place on Tuesday 26th March at 8pm
