Competition Wed & Sat 1.30pm & Sunday 10am
Last weeks competition took place midweek due to the regional board scramble & to try and get teams prepared it was an 18 Nett Scramble. Some great scores were produced but nobody could beat 32 2/3's posted by the youthful team of Aaron Mc Donagh, Aaron Murray & Pat Gorman (a little older).
This weeks competition is 18Holes singles and will take place on Wednesday and Saturday at 1.30pm & Sunday at 10am.
Congratulations to the club teams who competed in the regional board scramble at the weekend. The club was well represented with the combination of P. Sarsfield, T. Devin & K. Smyth reaching the final round but finishing just outside the prizes & R. Mc Kenna, T. Dyas & J. Flood narrowly missing out on the finals by just 1/3 of a shot.
Also well done to Pat Gorman who won the 36Nett in the Bellewstown Open Scotch Foursomes with Seapoints Bill Kelly last weekend.
The club lotto draw will take place on Tuesday 23rd April in the Railway Arms and the Jackpot is €1650, all members are asked to return tickets asap.
Finally the Entry forms for the Regional Board Strokeplay have been received and are now on the club noticeboard, the closing date on that is May 12th. Players please note entrys close this week for the Louth Inter County Trials & The Mary Conlon Memorial Scotch Foursomes in Channonrock, both close 22nd April.
