The County Board Alliance scheduled for Lough Owel had to be cancelled due to the course being waterlogged, the committee apologises for the inconvenience caused as it was beyond our control. The Alliance will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

Westmeath County Board Convention 2013

The County Board Convention took place on the 15th January. Four of our club members were elected to serve on the County Board for 2013. They are James Corcoran(County Chairman),David Corcoran(County Treasurer),Alan Devaney(Juvenile Officer) and Gerry Coyne(County Secretary). Best wishes to you all for the coming year.

At the recent County Board Convention Martin Carter (Collinstown) was elected as Team Manager for 2013, our club members wish Martin all the success for the coming year. The Members and Committee of Lough Owel would like to thank the outgoing Team Manager David Reddin (Custume) for his dedication and professionalism during the past number of years.

A club competition is scheduled for Sunday 27th January at 10am. This is of course weather permitting, a text message will be sent if it has to be cancelled.

Our next club meeting is scheduled for Thursday 7th February at 7pm in the Clubhouse, this will also be our fixtures meeting so a full attendance of officers is expected.
