Lough Owel Club Notes 10th February 2013
County Board Alliance
The next County Board Alliance is scheduled for Kilbeggan on Sunday 17th February 2013.Timings are as usual with tee off between 11.00am and 1.30pm. Lets get as many members as possible out to support the County Alliances.
Club Competition
The club competition scheduled for Sunday 10th February 2013 had to be cancelled due to the horrendous rainfall on Saturday night. The Club Committee would like to apologise to all members for the inconvenience caused.
Club Meeting
Our club meeting on Thursday 7th February 2013 was also our fixtures meeting. Competition Secretary Martin Charles gave a very detailed breakdown of the changes to our Player of the Year competition for 2013. It promises to be an exciting event and should generate alot of interest from our members. The committee would like to thank Tom Crowe who unfortunately had to resign his position as Treasurer due to work commitments. Tom put alot of work into maintaining the clubs finances and will surely be missed.
Membership 2013
Club Membership is now due for renewal, the Club Committee has set 1st March 2012 as deadline day for full payment of fees. Please contact David Corcoran for information on fees and for application forms for 2013.
Condolences
The Club Committee would like to extend its sympathies to the family of the late Paddy Slattery (McDonagh Pitch and Putt Club)
who passed away recently. Paddy was well known within the Pitch and Putt community and his hospitality was second to none.May he rest in peace.
