National Inter-County Latest

Above are the three winning Teams, Cork Ladies, Cork Gents and Waterford Gents. Well done to all three teams on their respective wins, it was a disappointing end to the weekend with the adverse weather wiping out play today. We thank Douglas for their hospitality this weekend as well as their efforts to get the course in as best a playable condition possible today but Mother Nature won out in the end unfortunately!

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the worsening condition of the course with the adverse weather, the NEC had decided to call a halt for play for today and declare the result of the Inter-County Championships based on yesterday's play. Therefore Cork are the winners of the Anchor Cup for the third consecutive year, Louth finish second with Dublin third. Cork win the Ladies from Kildare with Dublin third. The Gents B Division has been won by Waterford with Clare finishing second. Further information to follow.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

PLAY WILL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL 9.30AM THIS MORNING AT THE EARLIEST DUE TO THE PRESENT WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THE GENTS EVENTS ARE REDUCED TO A SINGLES ROUND TODAY, NO FOURSOME ROUND WILL BE PLAYED, GENTS THEREFORE REDUCED TO A 54 HOLE TOURNAMENT.
