Shandon's Mark Millar will defend his title at the National Autoparts scratch cup in Old County on Saturday, but he can expect tough competition with players from throughout the capital looking to take the 1st leg in a double that could yield them a €100 bonus. Stephen Murray and George McGreal are home players who have recently got their hands on the coveted trophy and other players like Tom O'Reilly and Kevin Bermingham will be highly fancied. Darren O'Reilly From CPM is another to enjoy great success in this scratch cup winning on 3 occasions and Dublin player Owen Mitten has also lifted the cup. Dublin Chairman Anthony Malone from Lucan will also be there to cast an eye over his Dublin team ahead of the National Inter County next weekend as well as looking for glory himself.

Dublin big pitch & putt weekend will move to the top class Glenville course on Sunday. The action tees off from 9AM on Saturday and you can follow the action on Old County website http://www.oldcounty.org.
