HANDICAP SYSTEM
VERY IMPORTANT
THIS NOTICE APPLIES TO ALL STROKEPLAY COMPETITIONS PLAYED SINCE 11th APRIL 2016
The New Handicap System is now in place and ALL CLUBS & COUNTY/REGIONAL BOARDS are reminded that if they run an Open Singles or an Open Scratch Cup they must comply with the criteria set down in the system.
- An SSS must be set for the course
- A Competition must be created
- Registration Numbers must be given by the player
- ALL players scores must be recorded in the system, in a Scratch Cup it is the Scores after 36 holes that is inputted
Remember that if this is not done the people who played in the Competition will not have their handicap adjusted and maybe deprived of receiving an increase in handicap.
So it is very important to do this work, failure to do so will result in Sanctions against the Club or County/Regional Board.
If any problem using the system please contact the PPUI Office for assistance.
