It’s all go with the mowers now, but bring the height of the mower up if the weather gets too dry. In drought conditions restrict watering to just enough to keep the grass alive. Over watering the greens will encourage thatch.
You may want to try some ‘Go Green’ liquid iron to give a rich dark green look to the greens.
June
If you chose the ‘Mascot’ fertiliser in April, it’s time to apply ‘Mascot 6/0/12’ @ 30g per m2. This must be watered in.
During dry conditions change to ‘Mascot Microflow 18/3/6’ @ 400ml per 100m2. This is a liquid fertiliser, which will reduce the risk of scorch during hot weather.
