Great start to the Cork Strokeplay weekend for Bishopstown, with Alan O’Mahony coming out on top in the Junior Grade today! ⛳️
Alan capped off a brilliant display of pitch and putt with a fantastic final score of -11. Alan Abraham of Fermoy was hot on his heels in the final 18, producing another excellent performance throughout the day to finish runner-up on -7.
Congratulations to our own Alan on a well-deserved victory. Both players showcased a fantastic standard of pitch and putt throughout the competition.
To top off a successful day, the Bishopstown Junior Team also claimed the team title with a combined score of -2.
Paul Boreham finished on -1, Tim O’Connor added +7, and Alan O’Mahony contributed an outstanding -8 to secure the win. Congratulations to the lads on a superb team performance! ⛳️
A special mention also to Lesley Gilmore and Angela Royer, who represented Bishopstown in Collins today and put in excellent efforts in the Junior Grade. 🏌️
A huge thank you to the host clubs, Fermoy and Collins, for presenting their courses in outstanding condition. Both courses were absolutely immaculate and couldn’t have been any better, providing a fantastic test and an enjoyable experience for all competitors throughout the day. 👏⛳
