10: 30 am Convention is underway and we will bring you updates on proceedings throughout the day.
President Mark Keohane has observed a 1 minute silence for deceased members of pitch and Putt Ireland since Last convention.
The Presidential address is now being delivered to Convention. The President has thanked everyone who contributed to the development of Pich and putt throughout the year.
Dr. Una May ,CEO of Sport Ireland is now addressing convention. She has outlined the importance of strong governance and has expressed how successful Pitch and Putt Ireland has been in reaching into the funds available from Sport Ireland to enhance the game of Pitch and Putt in Ireland. She has praised the new strategic plan which Pitch and Putt Ireland are launching today.
2024 Convention minutes are now being confirmed by Honorary secretary Ger Holland
President Mark Keohane is presenting a bouquet to Dr. Una May in gratitude of her presence at convention today.
Convention has agreed to accept reports as read and discussions will ensue.
Michael Sargent , honorary Auditor for Pitch and Putt Ireland is now addressing convention and is taking questions from the floor.
Honorary Treasurer Breda Brophy is replying to questions from the floor.
Financial accounts have been discussed,and proposed. Michael Sargent has acknowledged the help of the Honorary Auditor Sean Minogue.
Juvenile Oficer Liam Leahy has made a brief address to convention and stressed that clubs need to be more proactive with underage players.
Vice- President Davy Reddin is now taking questions from the floor, report has been proposed and seconded.
National Co-ordinator Michael Vaughan is taking questions on his report, proposed and seconded

Anti-Doping policy proposed and adopted by convention.

Michael Murphy has been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Chrissie Sheedy and Ian Dillon have been awarded Player of the year for 2024.

President Mark Keohane presents a token of appreciation to outgoing National Co-ordinator Michael Vaughan and outgoing Munster co-ordinator Margaret O' Riordan.

Michael Sargent had been elected for 2025 as honorary auditor.
Motions and recommendations are now being read and discussed.
All amendments will be updates on the wesite after convention.
In cluding convention for 2025, outgoing President Mark Keohane addressed those gathered, he thanked his fellow officers for their support throughout the year and reminisced about old friends ,Billy Lynch. He thaaanked Mervin Cooney in particular for pushing him to go forward and is looking forward to playing a game throughout the year.
