Scoring Format in Tullamore for Inter-County Championships
The following are the Scoring Rules for the National Inter-County this weekend: -
Gents ‘A’ and ‘B’
- The three scores from the Scotch Foursomes will count
- The three scores from the Foursomes will count
- Five scores from the 36 holes Singles will count and if tied the sixth score will count
- If after this, the scores are still tied for first place, a three hole play-off will take place, lesser places will be decided on the back nine holes of the Teams involved
Ladies
- The six scores from the Scotch Foursomes will count
- Five scores from the 18 holes Singles will count and if tied the sixth score will count
- If after this, the scores are still tied for first place, a three hole play-off will take place, lesser places will be decided on the back nine holes of the Teams involved
