It was one of the quieter weeks on the pitch and putt front in Bagenalstown. The winners in our weekly Tuesday singles strokeplay were Ned Lillis and Paddy Robinson while the Thursday scramble was won by the team of Mark Lillis, Pat Finnerty and Ned Lillis.
On Sunday morning last, the Leinster Handicap Strokeplay qualifiers took place in St Patrick’s. Roy O’Neill qualified in the intermediate grade and Darren McNally continued his good form and qualified in the junior grade. This will be Roy and Darren’s first Leinster championship in the adult ranks so well done to them both. The finals take place on the 13th of July in Inniskeen.
This Sunday the National Strokeplay qualifiers take place in Gowran. All those entered to be at the course for 9.45am.
Our singles strokeplay continues on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm along with the Thursday scramble on Thursday at 7.30pm. Entry is €3 per night and all members are welcome.
The course is open from dawn till dusk, 7 days a week and green fees are just €5 per day. Clubs are also available for hire.
