The 2026 Munster Inter-County Championships produced some excellent performances across the Gents Senior, Intermediate and Junior divisions, as well as the Ladies Gross and Nett competitions.
Cork claimed the Gents Senior title following a thrilling contest with Tipperary and Kerry. Owen Shannon and John Walsh impressed for Cork in the Scotch Foursomes, while John Cahill led their singles scoring. Brian Cahill also produced an outstanding singles performance for Tipperary. Tipperary and Kerry finished tied, with Tipperary securing the runners-up position on the Back 9 countback and Kerry taking third place.
In the Intermediate competition, Tipperary took the title ahead of Kerry in second place and Cork in third. Cork were crowned Junior champions, with Limerick finishing as runners-up and Tipperary taking third place.
Unfortunately, torrential rain, thunder and lightning meant the Munster Ladies Inter-County competition had to be reduced to the Scotch Foursomes. Despite the extremely difficult conditions, Tipperary 1 claimed the Gross title. Cork 2 and Cork 1 finished tied, with Cork 2 securing the runners-up position following a Back 9 countback.
In the Nett competition, Tipperary 2 claimed the title on a Back 9 countback, with Kerry finishing as runners-up.
