CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) Update

• Majestic Open and Scratch Cup Postponed

• Bellewstown Open Postponed

• Ierne Open Postponed

• Catalan Open Postponed

With the continuing spread of the COVID-19 virus, Pitch and Putt Ireland urge  all Clubs to be extra carefull and to avoid mass gatherings at Clubhouses around this time. Several Clubs around the country have cancelled or curtailed their Captain's Drive-in, others have postponed their Opens or Scratch Cups.

• If your Course is still Open for Practice please advise players of the Social Distance requirements

• Advise players to refrain from removing the flagstick at this time and to wash their HANDS after the game

PLEASE LET US ALL STAND AND WORK TOGETHER TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD AND REDUCE THE CHANCES OF ANYONE CATCHING THIS INFECTION.

Pitch and Putt Ireland, ask that all clubs note, act upon and continually monitor the advice and guidance issued by the Health Service Executive (Republic of Ireland) and the National Health Service (Northern Ireland) in relation to the current CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) outbreak.

Any Club hosting functions should seek out Public Health Guidelines.

It is ULTRA IMPORTANT that we all work together on this and to follow the advice of experts, in controlling the spread of the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) infection.
