Provincial, National and Job Vacancy

2019 Latest Updates from PPUI image

Ladies Provincial Strokeplay

The closing date for entries for the Ladies Provincial Strokeplay is next Wednesday May 15th.  The Leinster finals will be played in Kilbeggan and the Munster finals will be played in Listowel.  There will be no qualifying rounds required for the Ladies.

Please note that there will be a new 36-hole nett prize per grade introduced this year in each of the provincial championships. This is an excellent addition to the prizes on offer and we really hope this can encourage more ladies to enter these championships. The overall championship per grade will continue to be played as gross championship.

With low entries in both the National and Provincial Ladies Matchplay Championships this year, it is really hoped we can see a big increase in the entries for the upcoming Strokeplay Championships. Let us make this a great year again for Ladies Pitch and Putt. Support for these Championships is key for their future.

Gents Provincial Strokeplay

A 36-hole nett prize will also be introduced in each grade in the Gents Provincial Championships.

National Matchplay

The draw for the Finals of the National Matchplay will take place in the Rocklodge Club on Saturday 11th May at 2.00pm, it will live on the website and Facebook.
