Pictured above are our 2015 National Matchplay Champions Chrissie Byrne (Ladies) and John Walsh (Gents) pictured with our President Eamon Birchall under the iconic Lakeside arch. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of proceedings over the last three days. A big thank you to Lakeside for all their efforts and help this weekend. We wish them well in the further celebrations of their 50th Anniversary. We will have more features and photos from the Championships over the coming days but for now its a goodbye from Templemore.

Both our Finals have concluded. Bryan Delaney misses a 10 foot birdie putt by a marrow margin to force a sudden death playoff with John Walsh, but John has retained his title successfully and won his third title overall. Chrissie Byrne is Ladies Champion again after a 5&3 win over club-mate Tara Dillon in their decider. More info to follow later! 

2.10pm 

We're going to the last hole in the Gents after Bryan Delaney birdies to the 17th to bring the match back to 1up! Chrissie Byrne edging closer to victory in the Ladies as she is 4up with 4 to play. 

2.05pm 

John now 2up with 3 to play. Bryan needs something special! Tara Dillon needs something similar against Chrissie Byrne as she trails 4 down with 6 to play. 

2pm 

Tara Dillon pulls one back against Chrissie Byrne in the Ladies Final. Chrissie still leads by 3up with 7 holes left to play. John Walsh edging nearer to retaining his title in the Gents. 2up with four to play against Bryan Delaney. 

1.55pm 

Chrissie Byrne now 4up on Tara Dillon with 9 holes left to play in the Ladies Final. John Walsh goes back 1up in the Gents Final with Bryan Delaney with five holes left.

Still A/S in the Gents between John Walsh and Bryan Delaney with only six holes left now. Chrissie Byrne has extended her lead to 3up now with 11 holes left in the Ladies Final against Tara Dillon.

We're back A/S in our Gents Final after a win for Bryan Delaney at the 10th hole. Eight left to play. Meanwhile in the Ladies Chrissie Byrne is 2up once more on Tara Dillon with 12 holes left.

Tara Dillon pulls one back against Chrissie Byrne in the Ladies, Chrissie now 1up with 22 holes played. John Walsh still 2up on Bryan Delaney with 10 holes left to play.

John Walsh goes 2up on Bryan Delaney with 11 holes left to play. Chrissie Byrne 2up again on Tara Dillon after 21 holes of the Ladies Final.

After a succession of halves, John Walsh goes back 1up on Bryan Delaney in the Gents decider. Chrissie Byrne goes back 1up on Tara after 20 holes in the Ladies.

Back A/S in the Ladies Final after a birdie for Tara at the 18th hole. Gents Final still level after 22 holes.

Bryan Delaney goes back to 1 down against John Walsh after 17 holes. Chrissie Byrne back in the lead of the Ladies Final by 1up after 13 holes against Tara Dillon.

Tara Dillon is back A/S with Chrissie Byrne in the Ladies Final after 11 holes. John Walsh is now 3up on Bryan Delaney after 15 holes of the Gents Final.

John Walsh increases his lead to 4up after 14 holes over Brian Delaney, Chrissie Byrne is pulled back to 1up by Tara Dillon after 9 holes.
