Sunday morning brings the Gents Seniors event. A total entry of 83 spread over the three grades with 33 in the Junior, 24 in the Intermediate and 26 in the Senior sections ready to go. The junior section gets the championship underway at 9.00am with the intermediates following on at 9.44 while the senior section gets underway at 12.00.
While all of the grades contain a good mix with many current and former administrators mixed in with players the senior section throws one of the most eclectic and talented fields for many a year and should provide a riveting spectacle.
Similar to yesterday picking a winner in any of the grades would require the skill of a coven of witches assisted by several crystal balls of differing hues and I am fresh out of either witches or the globes.
The day should however provide great entertainment and with the Erry course in immaculate condition scoring could be exceptional.
