In the Junior section Conor McCarthy (Deerpark) produced a second round of 49 to give him a winning total of 95, in second place was Patrick Robinson (Bagenalstown) who carded a superb second round 47 to finish on 97, in third place came Paddy Murray (Lakeside) with a second 18 of 49 to finish on 100. It looked as if all the predictions were correct but it was so close at the end and a few putts could have made all the difference. That being said Conor led from the start and fulfilled all expectations
